CHILD AND FAMILY INVESTIGATOR (CFI)

The role of the Child and Family Investigator is to determine what is in the best interest of the children involved in divorce and child custody (parental responsibility) cases.  As a licensed professional counselor and attorney, I bring a unique set of skills to the role of Child and Family Investigator.  I offer expertise in same-gender parents, domestic violence, removal/relocation,  mental health, child abuse and sexual violence.

I am available for appointments in Adams, Arapahoe, Broomfield, Denver, and Jefferson Counties.  I will also accept appoints in Boulder and Douglas counties on a case-by-case basis.  I am eligible to accept state pay cases through the Office of the Child's Representative.  Private pay CFI services are $150 per hour, with a $2,000 retainer required.  I accept all major credit cards and alternative payment arrangements are available on request.  A sliding scale is available for those who do not qualify for state pay, but are unable to afford my regular rate.

CFI fees are capped at $2,000 except in extraordinary circumstance where additional fees are authorized by court order.
